Over the last months, the Triton One team has worked tirelessly to solve Solana’s transaction delivery issues. Our Cascade Network is a packet relay network that uses Solana's Stake-Weighted Quality of Service (SWQoS) feature to deliver transactions through staked validators.

We are proud to announce that we now have a Minimally Viable Product (MVP) in the form of an OTC (over-the-counter) marketplace where validators can sell, and app developers can buy SWQoS transaction bandwidth. The MVP aims to help our team learn requirements and get client feedback so our developers can focus on building a fabulous online marketplace. The future marketplace will be automated -- the MVP is a temporary measure to help us get from zero to extraordinary.

Cascade is an open order book where you can bid for transaction bandwidth in PPS (Packets Per Second) for upcoming epochs. Bids for the order book require two values: the PPS quantity and the bid price. Customers with dedicated servers can also indicate a region to reduce latency from their RPC to a participating validator. The lowest winning bid will be the price for all customers with a winning bid—all winners pay the "floor price."

Lot sizes are 10 PPS. The minimum bid price is $2.50 per 10 PPS per Epoch. Triton One reserves the right to set a maximum lot size to prevent abuse. All traffic within our network is treated equally since all buyers pay the floor price. Transactions exceeding your bandwidth will be sent through the traditional RPC routes but will be dropped from Cascade.

Bids will be placed by messaging Steve via Telegram, Slack, or email. Bids will remain in the order book for future epochs, meaning if you bid for transaction bandwidth for epoch 663, that bid will also be in the order book for future epochs until we hear from you. This way, you won’t risk missing a bid.

Payments are to be made in USD every month. Triton One will send out invoices each month.

If you’re not already using Cascade, contact Steve to set up an account. After that, make a bid, and we will onboard you as soon as possible. In short:

  1. Ensure you have a Triton One account and an anonymized ID for the order book.

  2. Contact Steve to make or adjust a bid.

  3. Configure your transactions according to this document: .

  4. Check the order book from time to time.

  5. Receive and pay your invoice in USD.
