# Walrus

Triton-hosted Walrus publishers, aggregators, and storage nodes on Sui mainnet and testnet, part of Walrus's decentralised blob storage.

[Walrus](https://walrus.xyz/) is a decentralised, scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant storage layer optimised for storing large binary blobs. Among other things, Walrus uses Sui for coordination.

| Component | Role |
| ---------------- | --------------------------- |
| **Publisher** | Writes blobs to the network |
| **Aggregator** | Reads blobs back |
| **Storage node** | Holds the data |

Triton hosts Walrus publishers, aggregators, and storage nodes on Sui mainnet and testnet. Read more about Walrus components in the official [documentation](https://docs.wal.app/docs/system-overview/core-concepts).
