# Solana 2.0 removed RPC methods

Which JSON-RPC methods Solana 2.0 removed, such as getConfirmedBlock and getRecentBlockhash, and the replacement method to call for each.

If your application calls one of these methods and gets an error, use the replacement:

* `confirmTransaction` → `getSignatureStatuses`
* `getSignatureStatus` → `getSignatureStatuses`
* `getSignatureConfirmation` → `getSignatureStatuses`
* `getConfirmedSignaturesForAddress` → `getSignaturesForAddress`
* `getConfirmedSignaturesForAddress2` → `getSignaturesForAddress`
* `getConfirmedBlock` → `getBlock`
* `getConfirmedBlocks` → `getBlocks`
* `getConfirmedBlocksWithLimit` → `getBlocksWithLimit`
* `getConfirmedTransaction` → `getTransaction`
* `getRecentBlockhash` → `getLatestBlockhash`
* `getFees` → `getFeeForMessage`
* `getFeeCalculatorForBlockhash` → `isBlockhashValid` or `getFeeForMessage`
* `getSnapshotSlot` → `getHighestSnapshotSlot`
* `getTotalSupply` → `getSupply`
* `getStakeActivation` → use `getAccountInfo` (see this [Solana Stack Exchange question](https://solana.stackexchange.com/questions/15710) for the approach)
* `getFeeRateGovernor` → `getFeeForMessage`
