# getSlotLeaders

Returns the leader identity Pubkey for each slot in a range defined by a start slot and a limit.

## Parameters

**`start slot`** · u64 · required

First slot in the requested range. The node holds leader schedules for the current epoch, the next epoch and a limited number of earlier epochs. A range that reaches an epoch the node does not hold returns error `-32602` with `Invalid slot range: leader schedule for epoch <N> is unavailable`.

**`limit`** · u64 · required

Number of consecutive slots to return. Maximum: `5,000`.
