# getGenesisHash

Returns the base-58 genesis hash of the connected Solana cluster, which identifies the network.

On Triton's Solana mainnet endpoints, shared and dedicated, the load balancer answers a single `getGenesisHash` request itself, from a cached copy of the genesis hash.
