# Utility methods

Solana JSON-RPC methods for epochs, slots, leader schedules, blockhashes, node identity, health, version, supply, and inflation.

## Epochs, slots and leaders

| [`getEpochSchedule`](/solana/rpc-methods/utility-methods/getepochschedule.md)   | The cluster's epoch schedule parameters.               |
| [`getSlot`](/solana/rpc-methods/utility-methods/getslot.md)                     | The highest slot reached at the requested commitment.  |
| [`getSlotLeader`](/solana/rpc-methods/utility-methods/getslotleader.md)         | The validator identity scheduled for the current slot. |
| [`getSlotLeaders`](/solana/rpc-methods/utility-methods/getslotleaders.md)       | The validator identity for each slot in a range.       |
| [`getLeaderSchedule`](/solana/rpc-methods/utility-methods/getleaderschedule.md) | The leader schedule for the epoch containing a slot.   |

## Blockhashes
