# Block metadata

Stream block metadata (blockhash, rewards, block time, height, counts) without transactions over Dragon's Mouth gRPC with a blocks\_meta filter.

## Filter

`SubscribeRequestFilterBlocksMeta` (no fields):

This filter takes no fields.

## Update

Each arrives as a `SubscribeUpdate` with `block_meta` set (`SubscribeUpdateBlockMeta`):

**`slot`** · uint64: Block slot.

**`blockhash`** · string: Block hash.

**`rewards`** · Rewards: Block rewards.

**`block_time`** · UnixTimestamp: Block time.

**`block_height`** · BlockHeight: Block height.

**`parent_slot / parent_blockhash`** · uint64 / string: Parent slot and hash.

**`executed_transaction_count`** · uint64: Number of executed transactions.

**`entries_count`** · uint64: Number of entries in the block.

**`bank_id`** · uint64: Bank instance that produced the update. A slot can have more than one bank, so use (`slot`, `bank_id`) to tell them apart.
