# txpool\_statusByAddress

Return the transaction-pool status for a given account address.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type   | Required | Description                            |
| --------- | ------ | -------- | -------------------------------------- |
| `address` | string | Yes      | 20-byte account address (hex-encoded). |

## Response

Returns an object that maps each transaction hash the pool tracks for the address to its status, in the same shape as [txpool\_statusByHash](/monad/rpc-methods/extensions/txpool_statusbyhash.md). If the pool tracks no transactions for the address, the call returns a `No transactions` error.

**Each node answers from its own transaction pool.** On the shared Monad pool, requests are not tied to a node, so a call can reach a node that did not receive the transaction and return `No transactions`. To check whether a transaction was included in a block, use [eth\_getTransactionReceipt](/monad/rpc-methods/eth/eth_gettransactionreceipt.md).
