# eth\_sendRawTransactionSync

Submit a signed raw transaction and return its receipt synchronously.

## Parameters

| Parameter    | Type    | Required | Description                                                                                                            |
| ------------ | ------- | -------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `hex_tx`     | string  | Yes      | Signed transaction data (hex-encoded).                                                                                 |
| `timeout_ms` | integer | No       | How long to wait for the receipt, in milliseconds. If omitted, 0, or above 10,000, the node uses its default of 2,000. |

## Response

Returns the transaction receipt as soon as the transaction is in a proposed block, before that block is finalized. If no receipt arrives before the timeout, the call returns an error.
