# eth\_fillTransaction

Fill in the defaults (gas, nonce, fees) for a transaction call object and return the unsigned transaction.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Type   | Required | Description                                                                                   |
| --------- | ------ | -------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `tx`      | object | Yes      | Transaction call object. It must include `from`, or the call returns an invalid-params error. |

## Response

Returns the filled transaction (`tx`) and its RLP-encoded unsigned form (`raw`).
