# Debug & tracing

Pull raw encoded chain data and execution traces.

## Raw chain data

| Method                                                                           | What it does                                          |
| -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| [`debug_getRawBlock`](/monad/rpc-methods/debug/debug_getrawblock.md)             | The raw, RLP-encoded block.                           |
| [`debug_getRawHeader`](/monad/rpc-methods/debug/debug_getrawheader.md)           | The raw, RLP-encoded block header.                    |
| [`debug_getRawReceipts`](/monad/rpc-methods/debug/debug_getrawreceipts.md)       | The raw receipts of a block, EIP-2718 binary-encoded. |
| [`debug_getRawTransaction`](/monad/rpc-methods/debug/debug_getrawtransaction.md) | The raw transaction, EIP-2718 binary-encoded.         |

## Execution traces

Traces come from `callTracer` (the default) or `prestateTracer`.
